Cue & Focus

What is my "cue?"

WHAT DOES GOD WANT FOR ME?

God does not want me to live my life in fear, worry, or anxiety.  It hurts our relationship with Him and impacts our physical and mental health.

The enemy knows this, and we all know he likes to torment God’s people.  We know this present world will not last forever, but until that time comes when we are liberated, God, in his great love for us, has given us tools to help us recalibrate and to regain our true focus.  It’s not in focusing on the problems, but in focusing on the one who can help us with and through them.

GOD WILL MAKE ME STRONG!

God will change our focus.  He will change our perspective.  He will make us strong, firm, and steadfast.  We just have to do our part and pause, step back, and look up!

WHAT CAN I DO?

When worry, fear, or anxiety begins to take hold, and you know when that happens, consider it your “cue” to:

1) Stop What You Are Doing

2) Start Praying

3) Repeat God’s Promises (say them out loud)

4) Look Up and Focus on Jesus

5) Think Upon His Name, What He Has Done, What He Is Doing, What He Will  Be Doing (Soon)

IN CONCLUSION

It is all about what you choose to focus on.  Recognize your “cue” and start focusing on Him. He will help you do it.
